Samsung Galaxy S3 twin, Galaxy S Duos pops out

If you are going to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S3, then it is highly recommended that you had better remember all the details of this phone, not just the appearance and profile, the screen size, the buttons, microphone and also the external sensor. According to Samsung’s routine on the new design, there is great possibility that a slew of device with the Galaxy S3 look will come out one after another.

There is already such a phone called Galaxy S Duos which takes the exact appearance as the Galaxy S3, and some may dub it as the twin of Galaxy S3. Strictly speaking, it is not actually the truth since the specs for Galaxy S Duos are much low than that of the Galaxy S3. This Galaxy S3 twin merely sports a Snapdragon MSM7227a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a VGA front facer and a 5MP rear camera. As its moniker suggests, Galaxy S Duos comes with dual SIM card design, compatible with the networks of GSM and HSDPA.

So as far as the innards are speaking, Galaxy S Duos is only a mid-end device. But however, this phone is lucky enough to take the same design as the Galaxy S3. Despite the 4-inch WVGA display compared with the 4.8-inch Galaxy S3, Galaxy S Duos inherits the same look of Galaxy S3 both in front and the in rear: the metal frame all round, the strikingly curved four corners and the physical Home button. So there is great chance that you may mistake it as the Galaxy S3 at the first sight. So it is easy to make the peripheral products of Galaxy S Duos based on the Samsung Galaxy S3 cases.

With the codename as Samsung S7562, the price for Galaxy S Duos remains a mystery. It also appears puzzling that Samsung will endow a mainstream mid-end single-core phone with the look of its own quad-core flagship, which would easily make Galaxy S Duos a good replacement of the Galaxy S3. The draining of the novel design for the smartphone might be the probable reason. That is not a good thing for the customers, of course.
