Personal Branding: Use Video and Video EMail For Marketing

by Elizabeth Horlemann Internet Marketing Consultant

99% of Marketing is being remembered.  Is it your card, your brochure, the tag on your car?  We all know that pictures say a thousand words.  How many of you have a website? So if pictures say thousand words, what do you think a video will say?  Consider this, you create a video for your website where you are talking to your potential subscribers offering them visual information on your product or services that you are offer, giving them a possibility to subscribe for more information and a bonbon a gift thanking them for stopping by and taking time to go through your website.  Would that not be great?

What is your line of trade?  Are you a Network Marketer? A Trainer or Mentor? Or even a Motivational Speaker?  Then integrating your videos on your website is the number one way of offering your prospects the possibility to see you at work doing presentations, talking as speaker, the list is just long.

There are several products out there in the market which will offer you this service and which you can create and install yourself, or take it a step further by getting an expert do this for your professional. 2820118819391336x280.gif

IWowWe Communications a worldwide reputable company offers you the possibility of putting up a killer video for less than $20 a month which enables you to install the video on your website which will help you increase your ability, your professionalism and your marketing buzz.

As a trainer I am currently using Video E-Mail offering my potential clients the possibility to see trailers of some of the training sessions which I have offered.  With these videos I offer my clients informative and educational information on what to expect in terms of content value when taking part at my training sessions.

The best thing that happened the other day I got a call from a client who had received my video via another subscriber and was so impressed that they booked a training session immediately.

This gave me the idea that I can offer my subscribers gifts which they in turn can offer either their customers or as referral hence increasing my leads.  I realize that all I needed to do was to get my personality in it, by branding myself and marketing it in order to get more clients.

95% of my business comes from past clients.  The biggest challenge I have had over the years in getting my clients to refer me to other clients is for my client to accurately tell them what it is I actually do, so with the Video Marketing all the client has to do is to offer them my video and it is me talking and they can see my sense of humor, my mannerisms, whether they like my nose nor not!  This is proving to be really successful as people watch it and forward it to others and as a result I am enable to develop my business.

My advice to people is that if you are not maximizing technology today and the capability that technology has in helping you increase your leads do not be surprised that when you send an email, this will be well filed away in the hope that your receipt will have time to read it at another date.

The bottom line is that you are the sales, you are the brand, you have to build it, by using IWowWe Communications for building your personal business, distributing newsletters by sending Video Emails, most important keeping track of the response you are receiving at regular intervals.

The use of video to help with branding, as you have pointed is a very effective way to present yourself. To be most effective for branding I guess that the video quality and content should be carefully presented.

You are right Neville. One needs to prepare themselves both the content that they will be offering and also visually.
