Odisha Police, State Selection Board, Cuttack has issued a new notification inviting applications from candidates who want to join the Odisha Police department for the post of Civil Constable. This is a mass recruitment and interested candidates are advised to apply soon before the last date

Name of the post: Civil Constable

Total No. of posts: 1370

Eligibility Criteria

Education: 12th or HSC pass and must be able to read, write and understand Odiya language and must have Odiya as a subject in HSC

Age: 18 to 23 years as on 01.01.2015 (Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories)

Application Fee: Rs. 35/- application form fee for all candidates and Rs. 150/- Examination fee only for candidates other than SC/ST

Important Dates

Last date for Receipt of application form: 31-01-2015
Physical measurement/ physical potency test date: 15-02-2015

Candidates must be physically fit and must fulfill all physical criteria as mentioned in the official advertisement

How to Apply?

Interested candidates, who want to apply for the post of constables, can download the application from from the official website odishapolice.gov.in or can collect the same from Dist. Police/ DCP (Hqrs.) of Police Commissionerate, Bhubaneswar. Rs. 35/- need to be paid as application fee by all candidates

The completed application form along with self-attested photocopies of all documents and exam fee draft must be send to the concerned Superintendent of Police of the District so as to reach on or before 31.01.2015 or deposit in person.

Selection Process:

Candidates, who apply for above post, need to be present on 15.02.2015 at the respective exam center of their particular district for Physical Efficiency Test

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in various rounds of Physical Efficiency Test, their education qualification, driving test, sports achievement, medical examination and written test
