Kanchipuram Silk Sarees - India's Tradition

India was a witness to a large wave of immigrants from across the globe like the Persians, the Arabs, the British and the Turks. With time, they went back and left an indelible mark that reflects their culture and traditions of the nation. There a series of differences in the language, clothes, beliefs and various geographical aspects. There are series of characteristics that hold all the Indians together and make them one. The traditions vary from a simple welcome prayer and touching people’s feet. The culture of India has passed on from generations to generations and has settled down in the Indian way of living.

The concept of culture is often defined and explained as the growth and development of an adult with the influence of the social and political atmosphere. The Indian culture is a mixture of a series of cultures across the globe with different histories and wealthy traditions. Even though the development and modernity has changed the world, people are well settled in their roots and rich heritage.

Along with the Indian customs and traditions, the Indian Fashion has drastically changed as well. It has displayed a series of colors, brightness and richness along with the geography of each place imbedded in the texture and cloth. It is always considered good luck to leave a little drink behind in a glass which in turn might offend a few people. The Kanchipuram silk sarees are a part of the Indian fashion and culture that helps distinguish them from their history. The culture of India is a gift of God and has flaunted it in abundance.

The Indian traditions and fashion have immense religious, linguistic and racial variety. The difference and unity of the culture lies in its social systems and family values. The elders are often the driving force behind bringing up the nation and its people. India has been immersed in temples, monuments, forts and palaces. India is a nation known for its movies and its actors settled in Mumbai. The Indian silk sarees are often seen worn by actors and ordinary people at weddings and several parties and actions. Every movie will have a different rich saree worn by an actor in every scene. The Indian traditional dances were discovered 2,000 years ago and the series of dances that were created were Bharata Natyam, Kathak, Odissi, Manipuri, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam and Kathakali. These dances were created and formed based in Indian literature, history and customs.

Indian clothing is identified with several colorful silk sarees and kurtas. The men often wear a dhoti and a kurta for various functions and occasions. Men are found of wearing something a shervani with a simple shirt on top. Indian fashion has been tampered and changed with the western culture and traditions. India is nation that is multi talented and resourceful and has always presented itself on a large platform with flamboyance. It is the only nation that is visited several times and has always been appreciated.
