The United Pentecostal Church is a Christina religion; still some of the Pentecostal beliefs differ from that of the Christian beliefs. Listed down are five of the vital beliefs that set the Pentecostals apart from other Christians denominations. 
The United Pentecostal churches in Elmendorf faith include the belief in divine healing. They are of the opinion that even though doctors and medicine play a vital role to stay healthy, still God is the ultimate source for complete healing. Various Christian denominations do not have similar faith and do not believe in the power of divine healing. 

Pentecostal women are required to practice modesty in appearance. This involves avoid wearing makeup, not cutting their hair, avoid wearing jewelry and pants. Additionally, the sleeves of the dresses are required to reach past the elbow and the hemlines of dresses need to be below the knee. Furthermore, women should avoid swimming with men. When it comes to Pentecostal men, they require practicing modesty with hair that should not reach their shirt collar or cover the tops of their ears. Moreover, women and men are required to avoid dancing, sports and men. These aforementioned beliefs are not popular among other Christian denominations. 

The followers of United Pentecostal churches in San Antonio do not basically believe in the idea of Trinity, which infers that there are three different persons within one God- the Holy Spirit, the Son and the Father. The concept of the Trinity is vital among most of the Christian faith groups and denominations. The fact is that the Pentecostal church followers believe in the concept of the oneness of God or Jesus Only. This belief is manifested as Jehovah in the Old Testament. 
Various Christian denominations do not believe in the concept of foot washing, whereas Pentecostal followers participate in foot washing. Actually, foot washing is a ritual similar to communion and Baptism and some of the prominent Pentecostal churches on New Year’s Even conduct an annual foot washing service. 
When a Pentecostal church in Texas follower suddenly starts speaking in a language which is unknown to them, Baptism in the Holy Spirit is apparent. The capability of speaking in languages which is not known to the speaker is not vital for salvation for Pentecostal followers. But on the contrary, some of the Christian denominations believe speaking in different languages in experienced by all who has been saved. Some of the Pentecostal denominations believe in three forms of speaking in tongues, namely tongues is a private prayer language, speaking in tongues is for the strengthening of the church and a sign to unbelievers and supernatural outpouring.
