British Army Medals - Recognition in History Through Different Aspects

by Jamie Cross JAMIE CROSS COLLECTABLES

Amidst the history, medals have been bestowed to specific people in perception and appreciation of an achievement, accomplishment or rather in regards for a triumphant victory. These medals are significant as they are directly related to a definite military campaign. The medals can range from different class, just like from the highest or superior Military honor available in gratifying the deeds of an individual to the distribution of many low ranked awards to honor a participation which is being done by a bunch of fellow individuals or a group, in order to be a part of a victory. The army medals fall into two expanded categories-

i.      Campaign medals- these are combined with a particular or specific campaign

ii.     Honor and service medals- these are being awarded for bravery or civility and long services respectively
