An Old Italian proverb stated, "Since the house is on Fire, Let us warm ourselves." What does it mean?  It’s mean that it is time to get busy. If we feel discomfort or the heat is getting turned up, it’s time to pay attention to insides and start doing some work on uncompleted work. This means what is demanded to attain and retain emotional sobriety. We’ve learned this lesson from dealing with Florida alcohol and drug treatment centers.

They have given us the insight that when the fire starts, it is our choice how we wish to respond. Our approach and perception of the fire is our decision even though the fire itself may not be our fault. We’ve to make a decision of whether to escape, get thoroughly burned or utilize the fire to our advantage, i.e., "warm ourselves." Perception and action thereof is the key.

The good news is that if we live long enough we will experience good. The question is whether I grow from these experiences; thus embracing the situations. Furthermore, how can we perceive all of situations life? Some of the gifts of struggle and loss and the warming factors are:

• Powerlessness recognition of over the majority of individuals;
• The awareness is the part of the kindling, if we can change things about ourselves;
• The knowledge of rising;
• The better listen ability;
• The major point on all of the happiness and blessings; and
• The hope that the fire will be enclosed on correct time.
