3.Better way to find the quality product, buyers need to research it. Whether it is new or reconditioned old item. It is easy way to avoid spending more  money on old product.

4.Have to check the particular seller's feedback at the auction site. It may help us to know the customer feedback about the seller. But the critical thing is that there will be a chance to make a fake positive feedback. Check the feed back date with Delivery date, it must be several days. If the dates are very close probably it would be fake one.

5.Beware of the sellers out of your region, for example if you are from USA -you need to be more careful about the seller out of your region (USA)

6.Clever thing is that you need to use your credit card for safety purpose. You can make dispute on your credit card if you found delivered product is not which you ordered or any other cheating happened.

7.Do not buy anything from a buyer who asks for a payment to be mailed to a P.O Box.

8.Have a look at some unnatural activities of sellers, like a seller offering you a full shipping cost, or trying to sell you a costly product in a open bid price. It may have some problem with the product or seller may be a scammer.

9.You can tell the seller that you are very nearby to their shop, and can pick the product by straight. If you get “NO” response from the seller, probably he will be a person to suspect.

10.After the payment done by you for the product, you need to take print out for the receipt. It would be a physical proof for the money transaction between buyer and seller. It may be helpful for you if any litigation takes place.  Better print two copies of receip to use one if another one missed in any case.

11.Beware of second chance offer. There are plenty of chances to get second chance offers from the sellers. At that time, you need to check the seller feed back to know about their business honesty.

12. You can consul with Better Business Bureau, to know more details about the auction site you are going to deal with.

These are some useful tips to safeguard yourself from online auction scams. Scammers are becoming more clever and finding really new ways to cheat people. So we need to be more careful to escape from all these onlin auction scams.
