About our Business
Shawn started as a teenager working with his dad who worked at the New Haven Ship Yards until they Closed. He worked for many years learning every aspect of building from the ground up. He has kept abreast of new building materials and how to use them properly getting all the information from the manufacturers. He gets the building codes from each town he works in to assure everything is up to code.He began Salem Construction In January of 1999 and has expanded the business over the years. He has done restoration, commercial and within the last several years has expanded to walkways, porticos, purgolas, decks, patio's and outdoor kitchens. He fabricates custom mantels, cabinets and more.
