About our Business

Hi! I’m Landon Porter, and welcome to my blog, The Social Market!!

In 1998, I began my online career not even knowing how to get “online.” Around that same time (just out of high school), I became a certified chef and spent eight years in that industry.  As I discovered more and more about the endless possibilities of the internet, the “net” has truly become one of my many obsessions.  I am self employed and spend way too much time on my computer.

My favorite interests are my family, castles, animals, and the social community.

I have a particular obsession with optimizing internet marketing using Web 2.0 applications and helping others brand themselves in creative ways.  If you have a desire to truly grasp what social marketing is, and want to practice it the right way, then I am here to help you in any way I can in your quest to become “Internet Employed”.

I live with my soul mate, Ash, who is in school right now, with hopes to eventually become a psychiatrist.  She is my inspiration and support!  Together, we manage my children, Tyler and Kora, as well as our two Great Danes, Jameson and Emma, and Toby, the cat.  We live near the foothills in Colorado and we love it!
