Now don’t let this scare you! I didn’t know how to make a video or write an article at first either! But with a little computer knowledge and the desire to make money it didn’t take long to learn.

First you will want to start by making a list of things you have a great deal of knowledge about. Then you will want to sign up for an Associated Content account and do a search for the items on your list. This will give you an idea of what others are doing. Now if you happen to find that there are not many others with the same knowledge that you have then you have found yourself a great Niche! Remember AC loves unique content!

Another good thing to do while your at AC’s website is just look around and see what it is all about. By doing this it will give you even more ideas of things to do and help open up your creative side.

Ok, once you have chosen a topic its time to decide which method of content you want to make, Article or Video.

Articles

Now you have 2 choices here:

If you are a good writer and like to write then I would go with writing your own Articles.

Now if you are like me and not a very good writer you could look up several Articles on your topic and use bits and pieces of each of them to make an Article to submit. Now be very careful doing it this way, AC will check your Article to see if it has content from other sites in it. What I do is use single sentences from each Article I find to build my Article or I find an Article I like and rewrite the whole thing in my own words. I know this sounds like a lot of work but the more you do it the better and faster you will be at it.

Videos

Now Videos are my personal favorite! They are easy to make and they take a lot less time than Articles. I use Windows Movie Maker and CamStudio to make my Videos.

With Windows Movie Maker you can make short 2-4 minute Videos in no time. First thing you want to do is either find free PLR Articles on the Internet or find a source of bulk information such as an encyclopedia or other factual book of information.

Once you have found the information you want to use, open your Sound Recorder which is located in your Windows Start Menu and record yourself reading this information. Now this is a tricky process because it will only record for 1 minute at a time. What you need to do is read a paragraph then hit the stop button on the Sound Recorder, then hit the record button again and read another paragraph and hit stop. Continue this until you have the whole thing recorded. Doing it this way allows you to be able to record you reading the whole thing in one sound file.

*HINT* You will probably have to do this a few times to get it exactly right. Now should you mess up a sentence while your reading it just play the file and stop it right before the part where you messed up at. I normally just stop it at the end of the last good sentence and start again from there. Now when you feel you have a good recording and have listened to it from start to finish you can save it to your desktop.

Now that you have your Sound recorded you need to find at least 2 - 6 pictures that match your topic. You can do a search on the Internet for Clip Art or pictures that aren’t Copyrighted. Once you have found your pictures and have saved them to your desktop you will need to open Windows Movie Maker. You can find it in your Start Menu as well. Take a few minutes to look it over and be sure to look over the Tool menu across the top.

Now it’s time to add your Sound File and your Pictures by dragging and dropping them from your Desktop to the Large white window on the left side of the Windows Movie Maker.

Once you’ve added them you will need to drag and drop the sound file into Audio/Music Section of the Storyboard at the bottom. Now you can drag and drop the pictures into the Video Section of the Storyboard. Most of the time your Sound File will be longer than your pictures.

You have 2 options:

You can repeat them by drag and drop them again
You can stretch each picture a little so it stays on the screen longer

Once again this will take some practice.

Now play the Movie from start to finish and see if it runs smoothly. If everything looks and sounds good you can “Save Movie File”. When you get to the Movie Settings, tick the “Other Settings” and in the dropdown menu select “High Quality Video (Large)”.

You’re ready to Upload your new video to AC!

With CamStudio you can make great How To Videos. These are very popular, AC loves these types of videos because they are unique. If you look on AC you will see that people have made videos showing you How To make a banner for your website or How To use MS Excel. Once again this will take some practice.

Once you have an account you can setup a Blog with Articles in it that match the Topic of your video. Why? Because you can direct traffic from your Video to this Blog. So? You can setup this Blog with Adsense, Amazon and ClickBank Affiliate Products. Yeah and? You can make money anytime someone clicks on or buys something off your Blog! WOW HUH?!?!?

Now if you decide to go this far with it you will need to set up the Blog first then make the Video. Why? Because at the end of the Video you will want to put a Link to your Blog. How? Ok after the Step where you “Repeat or Stretch” the pictures to match the length of the Audio, you would need to then go up to the Menu and hit “Tools” then hit “Tiles and Credits”. Then select “Add title on selected clip in timeline”.
