There is a statistic that is bantered around the Internet; 95% of online marketers are failing. Everyone trying to recruit you claims to be one of the 5% that is successful. Some of them may be telling you the truth, but this is the absolute truth: everyone who is successful works hard. There is no Easy Button. The beginning work must be done within you. You must believe in yourself, in your product, in your team. If there is an easy button, that is it. Once you learn to do your work in a "certain way", it becomes effortless.

Here's a simple litmus test you can take when evaluating a home business. Ask yourself the following question: "If I wasn't selling this product or service, would I, or a loved one still be using it?" Your honesty in answering this question will make things much easier for you when evaluating any home business.

Of course, it would be difficult to know whether or not you would personally use a product or service until you or a loved one tried it and had a favorable experience... However, we can tell you this: Regardless of what product or service you ultimately end up marketing in your home business... If you're a part of the 95% who consider selling a chore, and if the product or service you're marketing doesn't pass the litmus test described above... Then keep searching until you find one that does.

Without a product or service that you truly believe in, your chances of success are extremely remote... And that's being kind.

I believe that I was guided to a team of expert Internet marketers led by Jim Gras, Val Smyth, Karen Weir and many others, who graciously took me under their wings and have been so generous with their time and knowledge.  They have shortened the learning curve tremendously.  It has been a fun challenge, but also a wonderful, never-ending  educational process in this new adventure.
