About our Business

Hi, 

       I don't even know how to blog, I am a little out of the loop. I did daycare out of my home for 25 yrs, then my kids grew up and after 28 yrs of working at the same place my hubby lost his job and we new we couldn't make it with the starting wages in a factory. I am disabled and in a great deal of Pain (fibromyalgia, and a few other pain disorders, age doesn't help either). So he when back to School and He had a small IRA which basically means we qualified for no goverment help at all. I didn't know you need to have point to qualify for Disability and even the minimum in Social Security. And although the Goverment pays for dislocated worker to go back to School they only pay for 26 weeks unemployment (does not everyone know there are 52 weeks in a yr, not the goverment, but the bill are still due all 12 months) and while in School Full Time they won't let you work part time unless you can make almost $18.00 an hr. Well by us you can't work even starting at full time with those wages much less part time, so we were basically forced to live off of our IRA(retirement fund), when the unemployment stopped but that's when I thought before the Goverment gets it all, I will take a few thousand and after months of research and trying to find wholesaler or other retailers that allow you to purchase from them for volume discount usually I hit their clearance section. I started placing orders, and started an eBay store.

Well it's 4 yrs later, almost 3 since starting my store and my Hubby graduated with honors as a HVAC Technician (heating, ventalation, and Air conditioning), for those who care. He has had 2 different Jobs to date, he Just hates, but the second is closer to home and pays more, but is still looking.(It's not the work it's his bosses and the benefits, still no insurance(which is hard when we both take meds for pain that are more potent than aspirin) and both places lied and said he would get insurance and pesion, and even 401K just to get him there and then haven't done any of it. So I know God didn't bring us this far or thru all that we have in our lives (personally I think I must be one of the decendents of Job from the Bible). I have never had an easy life, but I don't expect to, I'm not in heaven yet!

I live my life one moment at a time because in my world one day can be to large! I choose to laugh more than cry, my passion second or third to God and Family is gardening, a day isn't complete unless at least one weed is pulled (if I were to ever write a book, the title would be "I'd rather be weeding", I think or say it at least once a day) but I had surgery(again no insurance) and those darn weed, if you don't keep at them they want to run the place so I am trying to get caught up in to many areas of my life!
