In creating and owning my own website and managing several blogs, I've researched and learned several ways to get visitors to my website. Even if you manage blogs, you can use these techniques below:

  1. Make your information FREE! Everyone loves free information on any topic.
  2. Share resources that a lot of people would find helpful like fashion, make money programs, music, electronics, iPhone info, gamer news, gossip, celebrity news, etc.
  3.  Create "ad space and paid blog post" section on your website or blog. People who own small businesses often tend to support others with small business by purchasing banners or blog posts. I've added 3 different Fiverr gigs for ad space on this website.
    •  I will add your 468x60 banner ad to my Sponsors page on my website SuccessSince1987 for 1 week for $5.
    • I will add your 125 by 125 banner to sidebar 1 or 2 on the home page of my website SuccessSince1987 for one week for $5
    • I will add your 250x250 banner ad to the homepage sidebar of my website SuccessSince1987 for 1 week for $5.

  4.  Focus on your craft or skills. If you're great at it, you can probably make money from it. Use Programs like Fiverr to sell your services. Since I have 21,900+ Twitter followers, I've added a Fiverr gig "I will tweet your information to my 21,800+ followers 40 times on Twitter my handler is KeyannaRochelle for $5".   5. Create a "Submit Your Website or Business" page on your website or blog. This is a great way to direct traffic to you website and to find other great businesses around the world. Come up with 10-20+ questions for people to submit to find out more about their business. (See our Submit Your Business for Free page)
  6. In addition to #5, you can create a Free Directory page and tweet or share the information on other social networks. Adding someone's Twitter name or Facebook name will help broaden your audience reach because they will retweet or share the info with their friends and family. (See our Resources page)
  7. Follow people like yourself on Twitter. Follow me on Twitter at @KeyannaRochelle and my website's Twitter page at @SuccessSince.
  8. Like Facebook pages and friend people like yourself on fcebook that are helpful. (See Success Since 1987's Facebook Page) and Friend Me on Facebook Keyanna Rochelle.
  9. Tweet or Facebook comment about websites and companies that you like. They may retweet or share your business in return to their audience.
  10. Scheduled tweets about your business or website to save yourself time of manually tweeting. Use Twitter tools like Twuffer (Created by @GradyBritton) to schedule your tweets.
  11. Be social! Comment in forums, on Facebook pages and groups, on websites and on Twitter accounts s much as you can. When you comment, add you website as another resource. Example: This is an informative article. If you're interested in making money online, on Twitter and on iPhone or iPad, visit my website http://SuccessSince1987.com
  12. Ask your Facebook and Twitter friends, and other social network friends, to share your website with their friends and family. You can do a favor for them in return.
  13. Share how successful you have been with your business or website through pictures and text. People are visual creatures. They like to see proof.Try using Instagram, Flickr or Tumlr. (See: SuccessSince1987's Instagram Photos)
